It’s almost time for another NWFA training! We are excited to announce that City Floor Supply will host an NWFA Intermediate Installation Course at our headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania from March 29th – 31st, 2022. NWFA Certification Testing for Installation will also be offered on Friday, April 1st for those who qualify.
This will be a three-day hands-on training and classroom presentation. Prerequisites for this course include one year of installation experience OR attendance at Basic Installation or Principles of Wood Flooring training. Plus, completion of the NWFA University Installation Safety course.
This course will cover the following aspects of wood floor installation and more:
- Job site preparation and layout
- Moisture testing
- Choosing and using the proper tools for the job
- Analysis of the different types of wood flooring and the methods to install each of them
- Board repair and replacement
- Adding simple design elements such as borders and patterns
- Retrofitting existing floors
NWFA Certification Testing for Installation will be offered on Friday, April 1 for those with 3 or more years of installation experience, completed the 3-day Intermediate course, and a member of NWFA in good standing. This test incurs an additional fee of $400.
