Our Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring Contractor Training at City Floor Supply on September 12th was an informative and engaging event that brought together hardwood flooring industry professionals to learn about the latest products and techniques from Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring, Norton, and Pallmann.

The day kicked off with Kevin Owen from Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring showcasing their Red Oak Live Sawn and Clear ‘Rift Only’ products, highlighting their aesthetic appeal and durability. Contractors gained valuable insights into why live sawn wood floors are becoming so popular in the market.

Norton’s presentation from Jeremy Harrison focused on their advanced Red Heat Belts, demonstrating the product’s improved performance for sanding applications. Attendees were able to see firsthand how these belts enhance efficiency and results during their hands-on session.

Wickus Nel of Pallmann used the opportunity to present the company’s innovative solutions, showcasing their X-Power Finish, one of the toughest single-component finishes in the industry, as well as Pall-X Clear Sealer. Contractors were able to apply the finish to the Allegheny floors. Pallmann also provided a live demo of their versatile Spider planetary sander, allowing contractors to experience the machine’s power and precision and get their hands on the equipment to try it out first-hand.

Throughout the event, contractors had the opportunity to get hands-on time with all of the products, testing their performance and learning application techniques from industry experts. Attendees also enjoyed a complimentary lunch while networking with their peers and building new connections in the industry.

It was an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with everyone leaving equipped with new knowledge, skills, and tools to elevate their hardwood flooring projects, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
