Century Hardwood Flooring has released a new line of solid prefinished hardwood floors called the Bryson collection. This warm rustic collection is MADE IN AMERICA at a Century facility located in Arkansas.
Read on below to learn all about this collection!
These floors are a great choice if you would like to give a room a warm, hearty, and lived-in feel. As you know, the hand distressed and reclaimed look is very much “in” right now. This Bryson collection has a heavy rustic feel that comes from wirebrushed distressed marks and heavy character marks and knots. There are two species available — hickory and oak. Between the hickory and oak there are four different color variations, all with a matte finish. The Bryson collection has been crafted to work well with many different design styles and needs.
As an installer, one key advantage to this collection is that you won’t have to hand distress the floors personally. They also do not exhibit the repetitive scraped look of your typical machine made “Hand Scraped” flooring. Other things to note are that the planks are available in 2 1/4″ or 3 1/4″ and are milled to be T&G. Planks can be installed with staples and/or nails on or above grade only.
There are a few accessories to go along with the Bryson collection. These accessories include flush stairnosing, reducers, baby-thresholds, t-moldings, and quarter round.
The finish on Century Hardwood Floors is quite extraordinary. Many Century products are finished with a water-based aluminum oxide finish that is UV cured. The combination of aluminum oxide and UV curing makes for one tough finish! Click here to read our previous blog about the Century finish.
