On Thursday, October 13th our vendors, customers, and friends gathered to celebrate the grand opening of our new North American Headquarters. We’re so fortunate to have been able to develop this facility, which includes a warehouse, distribution center, and office/showroom areas which serve both City Floor Supply and Wide Plank Floor Supply. Moving to this new location has securely positioned City Floor Supply and our subsidiaries for continued growth well into the future!
For those of you who couldn’t be there, we’d like to extend an invitation for you to visit our new location. Have your customers take a look at our new showroom, and see the improvements for yourself. We’d love to see you and show you around!
This event was for you. We wanted to thank all of you for bringing us to a point where 17 months after our warehouse burned to the ground, we were able to rebuild our business in a bigger and better space.
More than 100 people came out last Thursday to celebrate this milestone with us. We’re writing this to thank all of those who attended, as well as those who couldn’t make it to the event.
We started off the night with a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open our new North American Headquarters to our guests.
We were then able to enjoy each other’s company and discuss the improvements we’ve made, our future, and all of the exciting things that come with these facilities.
Together we watched our new video which chronicles our journey up until this point. The Glavins then addressed the crowd to give thanks to all of those who have supported us through this tough time.
We ended the night with the drawing of a free Clarke 7R edger, which went to Jim Janser of James Floor!
A big leap into the future of our company
The opening of this space really is a huge milestone for us. Our new facilities feature a much bigger warehouse and distribution center with a larger, state-of-the-art hardwood floor machine repair shop.
Our office space and showroom––replete with stunning hardwood floors in 20 different varieties––are designed to better serve our team and our customers. The open office/showroom concept allows for a collaborative work environment and includes hi-tech digital media equipment, administrative areas, open and closed conference rooms, a break room, and touch down spaces for our sales representatives and visitors.
We had a great time and we are grateful to all of our friends who came out to celebrate this milestone with us. We simply couldn’t have done any of this without the help of our vendors, customers, and colleagues.
We were so lucky to be able to share this experience with all of those who supported us during these past 17 months, and we’re excited to continue supporting you with great hardwood flooring products and winning customer service.
