The NWFA Intermediate Installation course we held last month was a great success, and the students in this Sand and Finish course will be finishing the panels that they installed. Read on for more details and make sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible if you’re interested.
This 3-day course includes in depth training on general equipment maintenance, sanding multiple flooring types, including a variety of species, unfinished, factory finished, engineered, and multi-directional flooring. The attendee will learn the art of flattening a floor, minimizing the scratch patterns and efficient use of the equipment. On the finishing side, the attendee will learn about and practice with stain application, sealers, natural oils, waxes, colorants, reactive conditioners, finish application, scraping, repairs, board replacement, recoats, and final coat application.
Prerequisites: 1 year of sand & finish experience OR attendance at Basic Sand & Finish hands-on training, plus completion of the NWFA University Sand & Finish Safety course.
NWFA Certification Testing for Sand & Finish will be offered on Friday, May 6th.
Pricing: $649 per person for NWFA Members or $749 for Non-Members.
